Jackfruit Sheera

 Ingredients

5 Fleshy Yellow Bulbs crushed

1/3 Cup Suji/Semolina

1/4 Cup Sugar

  1. 1/4 Cup Ghee
  2. 3/4 Cup hot water

10-12 Cashew nuts Chopped

4 Cardamom powder

A pinch of salt

  • In a saucepan heat the ghee and roast the cashew nuts til they are golden brown in color. Keep the cashew nuts aside.
  • Add the suji/ semolina in the same pan. Roast the suji till it gives a sweet aroma.
  • Crush the jackfruit in a blender.
  • Add the hot boiling water to the suji with the crushed jackfruit.
  • Stir it. Now add the cardamom and sugar to the mixture and stir it till completely mixed.
  • Seve hot or cold as dessert
