Okra/ Bhendi/Lady Fingers

Okra or Bhendi is a vegetable which most of the people do not know how to cook, it is a very tasty vegetable.

250 gms of okra/Bhendi
1 medium onion
1 medium tomato
1/2 teaspoon of chillie powder
2-3 tablespoon of oil
salt to taste

The best way to cook this vegetable is to wash it and strain the water, wipe the okra/Bhendi with a paper towel,if you do not wipe the okra/bhendi with a paper towel it becomes sticky. Cut the stem and discard it, dice the remaining vegetable, chop the onion and tomatoes fine. In a vessel add the oil heat it and when the oil is hot add the onions and tomatoes, saute them and stir it till well cooked Add the chillie powder and okra to it with salt for taste stir everything cover and cook it on low fire till well done serve hot.
